Update

As a reminder, the previously issued Single-Sign-On (SSO) certificate for 2024/2025 will expire one week from now, on January 9, 2026.

Zoom recommends that customers who do not utilize an IDP that supports dynamic metadata refresh manually update their certificate to the new certificate (with an expiration date of January 11, 2027) before January 9, 2026.

Please refer to our documentation on this topic, which includes instructions on how to update manually: https://support.zoomgov.com/hc?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0010192.

If you are having difficulty rotating the certificate, please contact Zoom Support.

Scheduled

Zoom will be making the new Service Provider certificate available on December 12, 2025, ahead of the expiration of the previously issued 2024/2025 certificate on Friday, January 9, 2026.

No action is required for customers using an identity provider (IDP) or configuration that supports dynamic metadata refresh, as your IDP will automatically download the latest Zoom certificate and rotate it into your account’s configuration starting Friday, December 12, 2025.

If automatic update is disabled or your IDP does not support automatic certificate rotation, your organization will need to manually rotate the certificate by January 9, 2026. If the certificate has not been rotated by then, your organization will be unable to utilize SSO services until the certificate has been updated.

For more information on rotating the SSO certificate, please see: https://support.zoomgov.com/hc?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0010192

Note: If the SP Certificate box is not on your SSO configuration page, no action is required to rotate to the new certificate.
